Easy elegance is what you find at MaJe Gallery, and our cute spring outfit and jewelry is just one example.
The classic styling of black and white never goes out of style. Bring it into the 21st century with this great combo from four American designers. Testimony’s Victorian jacket in asphalt, a mineral wash black, looks and feels great (purchase below next photo). The Color Me Cotton white bamboo tank top sets the stage for a four-layer Manya Vee Jewelry original necklace set. On the bottom, the Angelrox playsuit is leggings with a skirt, adding another dimension to the layered effect. Looking great was never this easy.
Here’s a closer look at the ever-popular Victorian jacket from Testimony. Made of the highest quality French terry (94% cotton, 6% spandex), it is soft and flexible, as well as machine washable. Paired here with Testimony’s Pocket Pants in the same fabric, these boot cut pants are a hit with everyone who purchases a pair.
Here’s a closer view of the four necklaces in Manya’s black and white series. The lengths are 32″, 26″, 20″ and adjustable 16″ – 19″. This combo looks great on white (shown), black, or any solid color, making it exceptionally versatile. Available as a group or separately. Coordinating earrings also available.
The magnificent art of Bill Booze brings us a citrine collection this month. A large teardrop pendant glows with the radiance of a sunny day, casting sparkly joy on all it sees. Set in sterling, it is among the most charming pendants you’ll see. The coordinating stud earrings are a bit more pale, yet due to Bill’s skill with faceting, throw sparkles all around the room.
A large faceted citrine oval glistens as the light catches the many facets created by master faceter Bill Booze. Set in sterling, this beautiful stone is simply set to best show off the beauty of the stone.

Notice how you can tie it closed when you wish. But there will be many times you just want to leave it open. Then, simply button the tie onto the central button on the back of the coat for a beautiful finish.

You may recall a similar collection of skirts about a month ago, shown here in this very newsletter. Those three are long gone, so we asked Marcia Bloom to create some new ones for us. Voila! These three are part of a lovely new collection of funky skirts that are perfect for your harvest style party attire.
These skirts fits size 6 – 16. Don’t believe me? Stop by for a demonstration. These are not only the most comfortable skirt you will ever wear, they also exhibit a funky style that you can accessorize from casual to dressy, depending on the need and your mood. The jersey fabrics make them excellent travel companions. Nearly all are one-of-a-kind.

Unique jewelry, made by talented craftsmen in small studios across America, has the ability to capture your distinctive style in a way mass produced items cannot even approach. Thus we offer you our fall jewelry extravaganza at MaJe Gallery, featuring our newest one-of-a-kind arrivals.
The Statement Necklace
Statement jewelry need not be loud or in the style of Carmen Miranda. It need not even be huge. Take this one-of-a-kind necklace by Poulsbo’s Poppy Design. It features a stunning pendant of druzy quartz. Poppy enhanced the pendant with a beautiful strand of petal pearls in rich chocolate with luster of copper and bronze. Wear this with a range of colors including black, brown, brick, charcoal, taupe, olive and more. The high quality pearls will reflect in the color you wear.
While our first statement necklace is very elegant, the next one edges into the fun category. Our jewelry extravaganza series comes out to playwith this unique piece by Edmonds’ own Cheryl Parrott. Using multiple strands of thin wire, Cheryl sculpts glass leaf beads and pearls into “branches”, from which dangles a hand-made raku clay bird in the center. It’s the kind of unusual piece that is sure to elicit admiration from complete strangers. You, too, could be party to sharing a moment of beauty with the world when you wear a piece like this. My favorite way to wear it would be over a white T-shirt with jeans!
The Subtle Necklace
Kenmore’s Shari Both has been making feminine power jewelry for many years now. Inspired by the beauty and simplicity of vintage jewelry, Shari channels that inspiration into her designs, resulting in simple yet powerful pieces for a woman who enjoys a subtle approach to her personal power.
This necklace features individually wire wrapped gray pearls on the sides with a row of sparkly faceted labradorite gems on a flat bar in the center. The gray tones let you wear it with anything. This type of necklace would work best with a scoop neckline in any color, as well as something with multiple colors that included a touch of gray or cream.
This simple, multi-colored woven beaded necklace measures 24″ making it the perfect go-to piece for every solid colored top in your closet. It’s a great length for scoop necks, V-necks, and even turtle necks. It’s multi-colored, yet the colors are subtle enough to work with any background color you’ve got. Made in Mt. Vernon, WA, by MaJe’s newest artist, Gail Thein.
Jewelry Extravaganza’s Bracelet Bravura
When it comes to jewelry extravaganza week at MaJe, bracelets are a big deal. A bracelet can be a more private piece of jewelry in the winter months, because our long sleeves typically cover it up. Yet there it is, making you feel like the strong, confident woman you are. We’ve got a style of bracelet for everyone. Check out these offerings.
Three bracelets – similar but for the colors – are also made by Gail Thein, whose woven necklace you saw above. These are such fun, and add some sass to your outfit of the day. Larger beads in two strands, leading into a single strand, and closed with a vintage button.
A carved jade ball takes center stage with the triple-strand pearl bracelet by Poppy Design. The neutral tones means you can wear it with many things. The elegant design suits those who enjoy elegance and a touch of class.
This silver hand-linked bracelet is one of those you can put on and just never take off. It goes with everything, is very comfortable, and stays polished if you wear it a lot.
Jewelry Extravaganza’s Earring Fiesta
Our jewelry collection at MaJe Gallery features an eclectic array of earrings. We’ve got something for everyone. Here’s a peak at just a few.
Elegant shapes are joined together in this compelling pair of simple sterling silver earrings, made by our very own Manya Vee. Not too long and not too short, these are perfect go-to earrings for everyday. Great for travel too – you only need this one pair for the whole trip!
Many enjoy the look of mixed metalsthese days. Check out these two earrings by two different artists. On the left, we have Portland’s Joseph Brinton and his silver, bronze and copper circles, held together by a pair of gold-fill rings. Light-weight and easy, there’s no wonder this artist does so well with his jewelry!
On the right, we have Christophe Poly’s work. Graduating with a degree in architecture, Christophe went on to fall in love with the small scale of jewelry sculpture. Using aluminum and bronze, his earrings are light-weight and feature nice movement. This pair has a dark gray cat’s eye stone.
Silver and mixed metal earrings are interesting and versatile, but sometimes you just want a splash of color, right? Never fear! We’ve got you covered there too. On the left is an olive stone encased in goldtone metal by Seattle’s Jem’s Jewelry. We have a large collection of these little gem drops in a wide assortment of colors. And they’re just $32 each, too!
Need color with a bit of funk? Then look no further than the mismatched sterling wire work of Passiko. Even the glass beads she uses are made on Washington’s peninsula. These range in price from $32 – $48.
With over 20 jewelry artisans from all over North America, enjoy our wide selection as well as our broad price range that starts at $10 and goes up to over $1,000. The largest selection is less than $100.

New Jewelry By Manya Vee
Here are two new necklaces by our very own Manya Vee. These are hot off the anvil – just finished a few days ago! They capture two distinctive methods Manya uses to make her popular jewelry.
On the left is one of her handmade 24″ silver chains with gold-fill links interspersed. Each silver link was first fused, and then formed and hammered. The center stone is super cool. It’s called Apache Gold. Mined in Arizona, it has pyrite captured in a black schist base. The pattern of the “gold” within the black is beautiful. It is said to help us substitute negative energy for positive. Who couldn’t use that these days?
On the right is a splendid example of one of Manya’s classic beaded pieces. This one features a sterling and carnelian pendant Manya commissed over 20 years ago (she’s finally parting with it!). Enhanced with carnelian, smoky quartz and black onyx beads, it is 24″ long.
